Last Tuesday, we went to the Tennessee Valley A & I Fair. We met up with some friends from church and had a great time. The girls enjoyed walking around and petting the animals. It was lots of fun and very interesting. I think the best part was just getting to be with our friends. They played together while we walked around the Jacob Building and looked at all the 4-H exhibits. It was a good day.

Wonderworks 2009
Last Monday we went to Sevierville to checkout the free day at Wonderworks. We had so much fun. This was the second time we had visited Wonderworks. It was just as 'wonderful' this year as last year. I did get a few pics but they are the actual camera's memory and not the memory stick that so easily slips into my printer for download. I have to figure out how to get them downloaded before I share the pic's so for now I'll just have to tell about our trip. As it was last year; the rock wall took the 1st place prize of being the most fun spot in the building. This year Jenny Lynn weighed enough to get a chance to climb. She looked soooo cute trying to get up the wall and she did a great job. She made it once to the top of the first section. Ron also tried his hand at the rock wall. He did such a good job getting up the wall. I couldn't believe it. He has never even attempted it before. We also had a blast at the bubble lab and doing all the little games. I took a quiz to find out your 'actual' age vs. your real age. After I answered all the questions the computer came back and said that my 'actual' age is 27. The lady behind me asked what it came up with and when I told her she says ...."yeah I'm going to lie too". People.............you just have to love 'em. Anyway, Ron and I got a kick out of it. They had a lot of cool stuff to see and do. We will be ready to go back next year if they offer another free day.

The Soccer Debut
Mary Ruth had her very first soccer game today. She had the best time. The name of the team is The Riot. It is the instructional league and no score was kept. All the players did a wonderful job. Mary's coach was so impressed with her. Coach Tim was telling other coaches " can you believe that is her first time on the field?" She was running after the ball, kicking, and dribbling like she knew what she was doing. She was great and she had a great time. That is what is important to us (and nobody got hurt).
Let The Fun Begin!!
Last night I took the girls to my Bible Fellowship class picnic. We had a great time. It was at the playground and fountains at the World's Fair Park. We had not ever been to the fountains before. I had heard that they were really cool........and they were. Jenny Lynn was a little scared and they were a little harsh for Mary Ruth but they had a blast. They definately want to go back.
