Fun at Wags....again!!!!

This has been the week to be a Walgreen's. Today I was able to purchase 6 bottles of children's Zyrtec and one large English Chocolate Bar for only $6.54. It was on sale for 3.29 and I had (2) 3.00 coupons and (2) 2.00 cpn's. The BEST part is that it qualified for the " buy 2 Zyrtec products and get a 5.00 register reward".......that's right, I did the deal 3x. I paid 6.54 total and rec'd back 15.00 in rr's. Shaaazaaam!! That's a profit of $8.00. What a week. Today, I love Wags, tomorrow it might be a different story. It is soo sad how life works. Oh Well, I guess we just have to grin and bear it.

It Was Another Fine Day At Wags

Here's the breakdown:
toilet paper 2.99 x2
Softsoap body wash 3.99
Glade candle 3.29
Huggies wipes 2.99 x5
Tax + 2.70 = $ 31.89
Now minus the coupons:
Wag's cpn for huggies -10.00
previous reg reward -10.00
free Glade candle -3.29
Huggies MC -5.75 = $29.04
After you subtract the coupons my Grand Total = $2.85 Wow!! The best part about the whole transaction is that I recouped $9.00 in register rewards. So, I'm only really out $1.00 in reg. rewards and $2.85 in actual moolah. That makes me pretty happy, so much so that I'll type $2.85 one more time. he he he :))

Maybe I'm Back This Time

Obviously July was a really busy month for us. So for the sake a time and convience I'm just hitting the highlights. At the beginning of the month Katherine came for a visit. It was so much fun. She is such a big girl now. She stayed for 3-4 days and didn't even mention missing her family. No, I'm kidding. Only at night did she miss them. We stayed around the house most of the time and they made shrinky dinks. On Friday we had a good time at the library. Someone comes to the reading pond and tells stories to the kiddos and then they do a craft related to the story. I've already forgotten what it was about that day.
Oh well. After the library we went to Sandra's church for the Forth of July fireworks display. That was a ton of fun. They always have the blow up slides and games for the kids. Here are some pictures of the girls with the Chick-fil-A cow and them chilly out eating snowcones and cotton candy. I'll post more about the rest of the month later.

There is so much to catch up on. This summer has gone sooo fast. I'll picture just some of the highlights.
